Keukenhof

This year I got a chance to see Keukenhof again but from a different and non-touristic perspective when a friend offered to drive me around the fields outside of the touristic keukenhof area. Although the look of the flowers remain the same, the experience was drastically different.

Hamburg

A friend and I took off to Hamburg for christmas and were surprised to be greeted by a beautifully lit & decorated city that was pretty much deserted.

Roaming around the streets in the centre of the city, all drowned in the resounding music of a lone street saxophonist was the most unforgettable experience I brought back from Hamburg

The food was great too.

Whenever the sun was out, the city basked in golden sunlight

and when it left, it lingered around in the sky, just long enough to dazzle the sky in saturated color gradients, for few minutes.

Haagse Bos

A friend and I headed to Den Haag to roam about and take some pictures of the city where we serendipitously stumbled upon the beautiful Haagse Bos, just 5 minute walk away from the Den Haag Centraal. We spent most of our time there and then walked 5km to the beach, reaching just in time for the sunset.

Rome

After an adventure trip that began up with me not being allowed onto the flight on account of forgetting my passport, I spent 2 days in Venice and then headed to Rome, a city full of gorgeous alleyways, cool drinking water fountains, rich history hiding in plain sight in every nook and corner and the incredibly delicious Ice-Creams (of which I had more in 3 days than I had an entire year)

The Colosseum was my first stop in the city, one I have been meaning to visit for very long time.

Altair of the Fatherland was visible as an imposing structure right from the Colosseo, so I took a walk there

After taking some pictures I started wandering around the city basking in the gorgeous golden evening sun

And ended my day by accidentally stumbling across a cozy Pizzeria in a narrow roman alleyway with an amazing pizza, where I had the 2nd best pizza of my entire life; the 1st being a pizza I had on the Burano Island in Venice. Further attempts to rediscover the same pizzeria in Rome over the next few days ended in failure.

Day 2 started with me checking off an item in my bucket list with a visit to The Roman Pantheon. The very thought of standing in front of an imposing and intact two millennia old structure, gave me goosebumps.

After a quick failed hunt for the Pizzeria where I ate the previous day, I settled for some coffee and pizza at another restaurant.

Then took to the streets yet again with some friends to see the stunning city scapes

Streets of Paris

Paris is an incredibly enchanting city whose air forever smells of romance. Its filled with gorgeous buildings and facades which invoke a sense of nostalgia. Its always crowded with gorgeous women and fashionable people of all ages. There are delights hidden in every nook and corner, in places one would least expect, like the back lanes of Eiffel Tower to alleys near the Seine; Crowded areas around Pont des Arts to empty streets behind Musse d’Orsay.

I have no words to describe the sights. I only have some pictures
