So refreshing to visit Amstetdam! I can’t wait for the work trip in China to be over to be back in this gem of a city that is gorgeous as ever.

Desperate for some cool fresh air and a sight of greens we headed into the Gongqing forest park in Shanghai just as spring started to set in China.

Its one city where crowd moves fast and internet goes slow; For a foreigner time goes fast and life is hard. Three weeks in Shanghai so far here and it has been every bit difficult as I had imagined and even more exciting than I had ever hoped, for I had expected less. I have waited for months to move here and strange turn of events now make me yearn to move back.

Amsterdam Evening

On Bright sunny days or cold winter nights;
On dull rainy days or in snowy winter lights;
With old bridges over narrow canals,
and droopy houses along cobblestone streets;
From empty and alluring alleyways,
to busy and crowded market streets;
What a beauty of a city Amsterdam is!

Three years although it has been,
it still evokes the very same feel,
as I felt when I had first seen,
the a beauty of a city that Amsterdam is!
